SHIPPING POLICY — INTERNATIONAL

BICYCLES AND FRAMES

All F. Duarte bicycles and frames are custom-built to order 
in our workshop in Bogotá, Colombia. Manufacturing time 
ranges from 4 to 12 weeks depending on the complexity of 
the build, materials selected, and current production 
schedule.

Before dispatch, F. Duarte will send the client photographic 
or video evidence of the completed bicycle for approval. 
Shipment will only proceed once the client confirms 
acceptance of the finished product.

SHIPPING CARRIERS
International shipments are handled through trusted 
carriers including DHL, FedEx, or other specialized 
freight operators for large-format cargo. F. Duarte will 
select the most appropriate carrier based on the 
destination and shipment requirements.

SHIPPING COSTS
International shipping costs are calculated based on 
the destination country, dimensions, and weight of the 
packaged bicycle. A shipping quote will be provided to 
the client before dispatch. Shipping costs are the sole 
responsibility of the client and are not included in 
the bicycle price.

SHIPPING INSURANCE
Shipping insurance coverage is agreed upon with the 
client prior to dispatch. F. Duarte strongly recommends 
insuring the shipment for the full declared value of 
the bicycle. In the event of loss or damage during 
transit, F. Duarte will assist the client in filing 
a claim with the carrier. Final compensation is subject 
to the carrier's insurance terms and conditions.

ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMES — BICYCLES AND FRAMES
The following times apply from the date of dispatch 
and are in addition to the manufacturing period 
(4 to 12 weeks):

- United States and Canada: 5 to 10 business days
- Latin America: 5 to 10 business days
- Europe: 7 to 14 business days
- Rest of the world: 10 to 20 business days

These are estimated times and may vary due to customs 
processing, carrier conditions, weather, or other 
circumstances beyond F. Duarte's control.

CUSTOMS, DUTIES AND IMPORT TAXES
All customs duties, import taxes, and fees applicable 
in the destination country are the sole responsibility 
of the client. F. Duarte is not responsible for delays 
caused by customs processes, nor for any additional 
costs incurred during customs clearance. We recommend 
consulting your local customs authority before placing 
an order to understand the applicable import regulations 
for bicycles in your country.

APPAREL AND ACCESSORIES

International shipping rates for apparel and accessories 
are calculated at checkout based on destination and 
package weight. All orders are subject to stock 
availability at the time of purchase. In the event 
that a requested size or item is out of stock, a 
F. Duarte advisor will contact the client to offer 
available alternatives or process a full refund.

- United States and Canada: 5 to 8 business days
- Latin America: 5 to 8 business days
- Europe: 8 to 12 business days
- Rest of the world: 10 to 15 business days

COMPONENTS AND BRANDED PARTS

Components and branded parts are dispatched once 
availability with the supplier has been confirmed. 
Delivery times may be longer than for apparel and 
are subject to supplier stock at the time of order. 
F. Duarte will notify the client of any delays or 
changes in availability before dispatch.

- Latin America: 7 to 12 business days
- Europe: 10 to 15 business days
- Rest of the world: 12 to 20 business days

All component orders are subject to availability 
according to each supplier's current inventory. 
Estimated times may vary depending on supplier 
lead times.

IMPORTANT NOTE

F. Duarte is not responsible for delays caused by 
the logistics operator, weather conditions, strikes, 
national holidays, or force majeure events beyond 
our control. All estimated delivery times are counted 
from the date of dispatch and do not include the 
manufacturing period. Prices displayed on the website 
are in Colombian Pesos (COP). Any currency conversion 
costs or international transaction fees are the 
responsibility of the client.
